The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own) was formed on October 12, 1883 in Victoria and New Westminster, and is older than the City of Vancouver in which it serves today. The first authorized regimental band was formed on November 9, 1883. With the conversion of the Regiment from Artillery to Rifles in 1900, the Band evolved into a brass band and a drum and bugle corps. Bugle-Majors have been part of the Regiment's heritage ever since.

They are the Star War villains. The 501st Legion within the Star Wars universe are among the 5000+ members of a worldwide organization that participates in community events and raises funds for charities in over fifty countries. They are the galactic bad guys that do good!

Ogopogo or Naitaka is a cryptid lake monster reported to live in Okanagan Lake, in Kelowna. Ogopogo has been allegedly seen by First Nations people since the 19th century. The most common description of Ogopogo is a 40 to 50-foot-long (12 to 15 m) sea serpent.

The benefits of being a member of the British Columbia Motorcycle Drill Team are many. A few that come to mind are a wonderful feeling of accomplishment after a successful performance or practice, the friendship and camaraderie that develop through participation, a great opportunity to contribute to communities through participation in parades and demonstrations, a way to enhance the public image of motorcycling as a healthy acceptable form of entertainment, an opportunity to showcase your riding skills and most of all, an unequaled opportunity to take giant steps in the improvement of your riding skills in a fun, safe and controlled environment.

Our membership includes face painters, magicians and other children and family entertainers in addition to clowns. We meet monthly in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. In addition, we teach balloon twisting monthly in a cafe in White Rock (no charge). We participate in 6 to 8 parades each year as well.

Anime Revolution is a three-day convention hosted in the Vancouver Convention Center, Canada. Catering to a wide range of activities, exhibits, panels, and performances. These include art, animation, comics, costuming, cultural displays, dance, gaming, musical performances, and others.

Once more Times Past Entertainment returns to us to entertain the masses. In past they have brought to you the Wild West, Fairies and Elves, Egyptian Gods and Princess, Steampunk, Kings and Queens, Horses, and a plethora of Fantasy based characters. This year their entry in the parade (or in the foyer of the event) will be filled with characters that are inspired by Pop Culture, Medieval History and Fantasy. Their new Tournament of Houses characters will be introduced to the world this October and Halloween Expo will be amongst the first to meet these creations.
The cast of Times Past Entertainment has been providing characters for parties, events, festivals and functions. Private parties, corporate functions, staff appreciation, Kids festivals or birthdays. The range of characters make it easy to plan for a kid friendly, all ages or adult corporate presentation. They are easy to find on social media on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube or Instagram. Feel free to share your videos and photos with them.

Shift Dance Academy is excited to start our 4th season with the North Shore community. We are a faculty of passionate, dedicated, and accomplished instructors, where young dancers will be encouraged, challenged and inspired in every class!
It’s time to make the "shift!". SHIFT is a North Shore studio were we teach our students not only a dance syllabus but also how to engage in their community through sharing and expressing their passion of dance. We volunteer and preform at many community day events through out the year.

The Vancouver Anime Convention Society is a registered non-profit organization in British Columbia that plans and operates the Anime Evolution convention and related events. Membership is open to anyone interested in volunteering for the convention but is not a requirement to help out. Joining the society, however, gives you benefits such as the right to vote in elections and have a voice in the decision-making.

At Encore Dance Academy we offer exceptional programs for dancers of all ages and ability levels from all over the Tri-Cities area including Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody plus surrounding areas from New Westminster to Surrey, BC. Our dancers have performed at venues such as GM Place, Disneyland, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, QE Theatre, Golden Spike Days, and the amazing 2010 Vancouver Olympics Opening Ceremonies.

CircusWest Once upon a time, a long time ago (1984, to be exact) and not so far away (south Vancouver), a small, non-profit circus school began in a gym. Inspired by circus performances at the Vancouver Children’s Festival, this school was called the Vancouver Children’s Circus Society and it thrived. It filled a niche in the Vancouver circus community, and it grew. And grew. And grew. Eventually, it outgrew its little gym and, in 2003, moved to the PNE Garden Auditorium at Hastings Park in East Vancouver. And in 2008 it changed its name, becoming the CircusWest Performing Arts Society, to reflect a much wider and more comprehensive organizational mandate. And we continue to grow, frequently offering new classes; expanding our community presence with workshops, outreach opportunities, and performances; constantly updating what we teach and how we teach it to better address our students' needs.
The De Danaan School of Irish Dance is a strong, supportive, and safe community that is united by our passion for Irish dancing, music, and culture. With 21 years of dance teaching experience, we are dedicated to developing talent at recreational, competitive, and performance levels. We provide every student with a solid foundation for Irish dance and empower them to discover and develop their own personal strengths in order to reach their highest potential.
Korean Traditional Arts Society shares the beauty of Korean dances. Pungmul is a Korean folk music tradition that includes drumming, dancing, and singing all in constant motion.

On October 1st 1962 2381 RCACC was formed. In 1979 the Cadet Corps found its affiliation being changed. 2381 became affiliated with the Irish Fusiliers of Canada, following the two previous Cadet Corps to hold this honour. Effective on the 1st of January 1981 the sponsorship was shared with the Vancouver T.B. (Pacific No. 44) Branch, The Royal Canadian Legion. On 25 June 2002, The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own) was officially amalgamated with the Irish Fusilier of Canada from the supplementary Order of Battle to form a new Regiment known as The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own). As such, the name of the Corps changed to 2381 BCR (Irish Fusiliers) RCACC.

North Shore Academy of Dancing's wide range of dance genres is available to all age groups, from pre-school to adult, from witihin six specific programs: Preschool, General, Examination Levels (R.A.D. and I.S.T.D.), Competitive Solos/Duos & Trios, Audition Only Performing Classes and Half-Day.
We provide a rich environment where a wide range of learning opportunities are available to dancers of all skill levels. Our students have the opportunity to develop poise, grace, coordination, self confidence and, most importantly, discipline of both body and mind. These skills benefit our dancers not just during their critical years of childhood, but throughout their lifetimes.

Thrill the World Surrey brings together 'zombies' of all ages and dance levels together to re-enact theMichael Jackson THRILLER dance in simultaneous real time together around the world. The event originally launched in 2006 with 62 zombies at “Thrill Toronto” and fueled epic worldwide excitement which grows in quantum leaps every year. Last year over 6400 zombies in 22 countries around the world took part, breaking yet another world record. And now for the first time ever THRILL THE WORLD SURREY is here!

Freddy Fuddpucker is a North Vancouver based comedy group that specializes in parades, open houses, community festivals, service club pancake breakfasts and barbecues. The band has won dozens of awards and prizes in the hundreds of parades and festivals in which it has participated in its 21 year history.

Vancouver Chinese Lion Dance Inc: Our team is based in Richmond and Vancouver; we perform traditional Chinese Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, Kilan Dance and Drum Performances. We perform year-round at a variety of events and occasions, ranging from weddings, sporting events, celebrations, business grand openings to major festivals, in and out of the Greater Vancouver area. Through our dedication and ongoing success, our team became one of the foremost lion dance troupes in Vancouver. Our members have extensive experience with performances at all types of venues ranging from the Vancouver International Airport, Rogers arena, Vancouver Convention Center to the smallest private functions and parties.

The Thunderbird Marching Band founded in September 2012, is the University of British Columbia’s marching and pep band. Our purpose is to foster school spirit, support UBC Athletics and the surrounding community, and provide a fun musical performance opportunity for UBC students, alumni, and community members. We perform at UBC Thunderbirds games, as well as at other various events in the Lower Mainland. The TMB is one of only four university-level marching bands in Canada, and the only one west of Ontario.
Bloco Energia is Vancouver's largest Brazilian drum group. A percussion collective of musicians from all walks of life brought together by their passion for Brazilian music and dance.
The Drive Street Band The Drive Street Band is a community musical group based out of the Britannia Community Centre on Commercial Drive. We welcome anyone interested in joining a band, regardless of age, background, instrument or musical experience and no auditions required.
Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services: Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services (VFRS) are the first responders in the event of many emergency and non-emergency incidents, not just fires. We respond to medical emergencies, teach fire prevention and fire safety courses, operate an urban search and rescue deployment, and host public health clinics in your communities. We operate through twenty Vancouver fire halls, one training academy, and two fire prevention offices.
